ITINERARY
Welcome to Medellín
Your journey begins in the vibrant "City of Eternal Spring." We’ll kick things off with a warm welcome, followed by a rider’s meeting and a comprehensive safety talk.
It’s the perfect time to meet your fellow travelers, get familiar with your bike, and prepare for the epic miles ahead.
Medellín to Honda
We leave the mountains behind and descend toward the historic Magdalena River. This ride takes us through winding roads with changing temperatures until we reach Honda, the "City of Bridges," known for its colonial charm and its soul-stirring river sunrises.
Honda to Sesquilé
Today is all about the climb. We leave the tropical heat and head up into the fresh, crisp air of the highlands. We’ll ride toward Sesquilé, a place steeped in Muisca indigenous history and home to the mystical energy of the Guatavita lagoon area.
Sesquilé to Villa de Leyva
Get ready to travel back in time. We ride through the scenic roads of Boyacá to arrive at Villa de Leyva. With its massive cobblestone plaza and preserved colonial architecture, it feels like riding straight into a history book.
Rest Day in Villa de Leyva
Take a breather and soak it all in. Whether you want to explore local vineyards, visit the fossil museum, or simply enjoy a coffee in the plaza, this day is yours to recharge in one of Colombia’s most peaceful and beautiful towns.
Villa de Leyva to Lake Tota
Adventure calls as we introduce a touch of off-road (10%). We’ll ride to the stunning Lake Tota, the largest in Colombia. Its turquoise waters and white sand beaches at 3,000 meters above sea level create a landscape that is as unexpected as it is beautiful.
Lake Tota to Barichara
Today the dirt meets the soul. With a 40% off-road section, we’ll navigate rugged terrains and epic canyons to reach Barichara. Known as "the prettiest town in Colombia," its hand-carved stone streets and peaceful vibe are the ultimate reward for a day of adventure.
Rest Day in Barichara
Relax in the silence of the stone. Barichara is a place to wander slowly. You can visit artisan workshops, hike the ancient "Camino Real," or just relax by the pool overlooking the Chicamocha Canyon region.
Barichara to Hidrosogamoso
We return to the asphalt for a day of pure riding pleasure. We’ll wind through spectacular mountain passes toward the Hidrosogamoso reservoir, where the massive emerald-blue waters framed by towering mountains provide a cinematic backdrop for our ride.
Hidrosogamoso back to Medellín
The final stretch. We cross the heart of the Magdalena valley one last time before climbing back into the Antioquian mountains. We’ll ride back into Medellín with dusty boots and a heart full of stories, celebrating the end of an unforgettable loop.
