WE DON'T JUST GUIDE TOURS. WE RIDE THEM.

Fire of the South was built by riders, for riders. We are not a travel agency that subcontracts guides— we are the guides. Every tour is led by Pedro, designed around his personal knowledge of Colombia's roads, and supported on the ground by Santi, whose professionalism and mechanical expertise keep everything running perfectly behind the scenes.

Between the two of us, you have a mechanical engineer, a former motocross pilot, a first aid officer, a fluent English speaker, and two people who genuinely love what they do. That combination is rare. We think it shows on every tour.

"Colombia is the best motorcycle country in the world. I want every rider who comes here to feel what I feel every time I start the engine."

Founder - Head Guide - Rider

PEDRO juan

Pedro has been riding motorcycles since he was 8 years old. What started as passion became a profession and a philosophy. With formal training in enduro, hard enduro and moto trail, and a mechanical engineering degree behind him, he brings a rare combination of technical knowledge and authentic local expertise to every tour he leads.

He has ridden routes across South America and Europe, which means he understands what international riders need, what they worry about, and what surprises them most about Colombia. His first aid certification adds another layer of confidence for every rider in the group. On the road, Pedro leads from the front — setting the pace, reading the terrain, and making sure everyone arrives safely and with a story to tell.

LOGISTICS MANAGER - SUPPORT DRIVER

SANTI

Before he was managing logistics, Santi was racing. As a former motocross pilot, he understands motorcycles at a level most people never reach — not just how to ride them, but how they work, what they need, and what can go wrong on a remote Colombian mountain road.

That knowledge, combined with his background as a premium motorcycle brand sales advisor and his formal training in automotive and motorcycle mechanics, makes him the perfect person behind the wheel of the support truck. He is the reason riders travel bag-free, bikes get fixed fast, and the group always has what it needs — whether that's a spare tyre at 3,000 metres or a hot breakfast set up at a viewpoint above the clouds.

Santi's passion for nature and the outdoors means he is not just a logistics operator — he is genuinely invested in the experience of every rider on every tour.
